Privacy Policy

TinyMinds is a Montessori-inspired iOS app that recommends age-matched activities, toys, and books for children ages 0–6. Your profile and saved items stay on your device and are never transmitted to us.

What we collect — and where it lives

Profile data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to TinyMinds or any third party.

• Parent/caregiver name — used to personalise the app experience.
• Child's name and birthday — used to calculate age and select age-appropriate recommendations.
• Saved items and milestone progress — stored locally for personalisation.

We do not collect email addresses, device identifiers, location, or any other personal information.

Third-party services

TinyMinds uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage insights (screen views, milestone completions, session length). Not linked to your personal identity. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
• YouTube — embedded video content showing activity demonstrations. YouTube's privacy policy applies when videos are played.
• Retailer websites — when you tap a product link you are directed to a third-party retailer (e.g. Amazon, Etsy). Their privacy policies govern that interaction.

Children's privacy

TinyMinds is designed for use by parents and caregivers on behalf of young children. We do not knowingly collect any information directly from children. All information entered in the app remains on the device under the parent's control and is never transmitted to us.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your child's profile at any time from the Profile screen within the app. This permanently removes all local data, including your profile, saved items, and milestone progress.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
